Bramble Patch, the first facecloth in the Twisting Vines Spa Set is here and available to you.
Twisting Vines spa set is another easy, quick and fun set for the beginner-intermediate knitter to work on new stitch skills. Another scalloped border and this time introducing twists.
The face cloths and towels are all knit from 100% cotton. I have used Lion Brand Cotton, Lily Sugar n' Cream, I Love This Cotton, and Pisgah Peaches n' Cream with a great deal of success. 100% mercerized cotton, while a great choice for most face cloths, I have found to be prone to splitting and can be frustrating for yarn-overs and slip-knit-pass over types of stitches. I recommend avoiding the mercerized cotton, unless you just love it or have more patience than me, for these patterns.
I am offering this pattern to you for FREE, with both written and charted instructions.

I have also received inquiries regarding the border... specifically sl 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th stitch over 1st. This is referring to the stitches on the left hand needle. You will lift off the 2nd, 3rd, etc. stitches on the left needle over the 1st stitch and drop off. This was difficult for me, but I am left handed, my test knitter is right handed and did not have any difficulty.
As always, I am always happy for you to use them for charity knitting. Please drop me a comment if you do, I'd love to see what you're knitting.
I often include these in shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a charity for children around the world by Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse.
The Twisting Vines facecloths have only been test knit by msyelf so far; and as the designer, author and tester I sometimes made modifications I forget to mark on my drafts, so if you find an error or have questions, please let me know.
Happy knitting! Lynne

These are gorgeous, Lynne. THANK YOU for sharing your inspiring creations. I have been knitting like crazy for a Fall Craft fundraising for Campfire USA..and my fingers are cramped from knittin with kitchen cotton. This set would make a great addition to the craft offering. Thank you so much for your generous heart!
