Nothing fancy here... I needed a gauge swatch for a project I'm starting and which will be doubleknit. I also wanted to experiment with a gingham print.... so, why not combine them. Oh, and my husband has been grumbling about the multiple knitting projects around the house and the deplorable lack of potholders....
So, my double knit gingham gauge swatch has become.... (drum roll please) Mark's Gingham Potholder. tada.
Double knit with an i-cord handle. A relatively simple, pretty quick knit.
